Capris completed CICA 5970 (Type B), SAS 70 (Type II) and it’s replacement designation SSAE No. 16 audit review in Spring 2011. Capris is further scheduled to complete the ISO 27001 Certification audit by Q4 2011. These accreditations complement our long standing PCI DSS compliance.

SAS 70/SSAE No. 16 (International) and CICA 5970 (Canadian) are industry standards which recognize that Service Providers have adequate safeguards in place to host and protect customer data. By earning these certifications, Capris demonstrated appropriate internal controls are in place for: Physical Security, Environmental Protection, Data Centre Operations, Data Information Security, Application Change Control and Computer Operations. These audits were performed by SAS 70 CPA(www.sas70cpa.com) , a licensed CPA firm that focusing on working with service organizations in Canada and the United States.
